Limited places are available for our single-gender teen tours in British Columbia and Maine!

As those parents who have previously booked their teen onto a The Road Less Traveled summer program will already know – and can vouch for – joining one of our renowned teen travel programs opens up so much more for young people than simply the opportunity to see the world.

We take great pride in the meaningful and transformative nature of our travel programs, which greatly help students to build up their self-confidence, social skills, ability to work with others, and even their broader sense of service as citizens of our planet.

Every year, hundreds of parents book their teens onto our summer programs, and allow their kids to have new adventures all across the world. Our summer 2024 trips include such thrilling and captivating parts of the world as Bali, Italy, Alaska, Belize, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, Iceland, and many more.

With these trips giving young people the chance to engage in activities ranging from hiking, kayaking, and scuba diving to assisting with community and animal conservation programs, you can be sure that your teen will return home as a more assured, rounded, and inspired young person.

And now, we are launching two single-gendered middle school programs!

We are always receptive to the multitude of ways in which we can broaden parents’ options and cater to their teens preferences when they are seeking out youth travel programs. That is why, for summer 2024 we are adding two single-gendered teen trips.

Girls Only Adventure Travel Camp - Maine: Pathway to The Pines

Boys Only Adventure Travel Camp - British Columbia: Sea to Sky

So, while our standard trips to the other destinations that we serve are all co-ed – open to both boys and girls – we are now also offering the option of an all girls’ trip to Maine, as well as an all boys’ trip to British Columbia, with both programs taking place from June 18 to July 1, 2024.

If you are on the lookout for a girls only adventure and service program for your teen girl that would enable her to discover the vast adventurous landscapes of Maine, partaking in such activities as climbing, canoeing, rafting, and camping with her peers, or you feel that your teen boy would love to take on a boys only adventure camp in British Columbia, exploring granite rocks and pine forests, we could have the trips for you!

Be sure to move quickly to secure your place on one of these trips for your teen!

You can learn more about what is involved in both of these single-gendered middle school service programs by clicking on the relevant links above, which will take you to the dedicated pages of our website for these trips. From there, you will be able to see full trip details including itineraries, accommodations, trip highlights, travel details and other key information.

Spaces on these single-gendered trips are limited however, and they are likely to fill up fast! So please don’t hesitate to schedule a call with an RLT director for a more in-depth discussion about our programs.

When you choose a Road Less Traveled summer program, you can be sure of it being far more than “just another teen tour.” We look forward to connecting more with your family to share just how our programs are so unique compared to others, and how this will be the trip of a lifetime for your child.
