COMMUNITY FOCUSED SERVICE TRIPS

When your 6th to 12th grader joins one of our teen community service and travel programs, they will get to immerse themselves in a range of local communities across the world, while making a positive and meaningful difference to people’s lives.

One of our guiding principles at RLT is that we only ever go where help is wanted and welcome. This enables us to assist with projects that genuinely benefit the communities we serve. Our immersive community programs allow us to stay within these communities, as well as to get to know each other, and share similarities and differences in culture, all while working towards a common goal.

Projects on our teen service programs vary depending on local requirements at the time of the trip. Previous service work has included construction tasks, painting, the building of foundations or basic infrastructure facilities, the running of kids camps, assisting with food supply and demand, and helping community-run projects to grow.

All of our service work is certified so if students have school service hour requirements or need service for college applications, our programs can count towards those.
