When we talk about “life-changing” journeys here at The Road Less Traveled (RLT), we really do mean it. Whether your teen is in 6th grade, 12th grade, or at any stage between these two, they could be transformed in more ways than one by joining an RLT youth service and adventure travel program.
Our trips are a hybrid blend of adventure, service learning, cultural immersion, language exposure and meaningful travel opportunities. This varied mix of experiences allows students to participate in an almost endless list of exciting opportunities.
For next summer, your teen could be kayaking in Alaska, scuba diving with dolphins in the Mediterranean Sea, partaking in community service projects in Southeast Asia, or seeing the “big 5” on safari in Kenya, to mention just some of the possibilities!
But in the process, your teen will also be learning so much more about themselves, and concepts such as culture, community, diversity, service, and humanity. Such life-altering experiences, in turn, will better equip them to take on the world – and the many challenges of life back home – with the utmost confidence and maturity.
