PLANNING AHEAD FOR SUMMER 2022

We are excited to have launched our Summer 2022 trip programs and enrollment is now open!

Each year we love to bring back our old favorites such as Colorado: Call of the Wild and Florida: Conservation is Key, to name a few. Our logistics team has also been working hard to bring you new and exciting programs to help our participants continue to explore new parts of the world. Why not try sailing in Mallorca or developing your adventure photography skills across the Northwest?

As families are starting to sign up, we want to share with you some early enrollment benefits and additional information that will help you confidently plan a meaningful and transformative experience for next summer.

CANCEL FOR ANY REASON INSURANCE

We understand planning ahead is challenging at the moment, with so much uncertainty in the world. We always want to ensure we are supporting our families as much as possible so we are including a Cancel For Any Reason travel insurance policy upgrade (CFAR) at no extra cost if you book before November 1st, 2021. So what does this mean? When you enroll your child, we will purchase a CFAR policy on your behalf at no additional cost to you through Travel Insured International. This will allow you to cancel for any reason up until 48 hours before departure and still receive a 75% refund. While we never hope the need arises for families to cancel a trip at the last minute, it will allow you to make exciting summer plans while having confidence your investment is protected.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Just as we did for Summer 2021, we are also including a travel insurance policy for all participants as a standard part of all RLT programs, at no additional cost to families. This will save you the headache of having to purchase additional travel insurance and making sure your kids are covered. Our travel protection package through Travel Insured International gives a range of post-departure benefits for participants, if they were to need them. And the best part is, we take care of it all so you don’t have to!

CANCELATION POLICY

In the event that we (RLT) have to cancel a trip, families will have three options to choose from:

1) Switch to a different trip program that is able to run.
We offer a varied range of domestic and international programs. If one program is not able to run, we encourage families to switch onto another program so your child can still enjoy a meaningful travel experience over the summer.
2) Roll over funds to a future year.
We are happy to roll your funds forward to a future year so you can enjoy the RLT program of your choice.
3) We will provide a full refund.
If either of the first two options don’t work for your family, we are happy to provide a full refund.

We are very excited to continue to provide meaningful travel and growth opportunities for young people next summer. With additional trip protection in place, a transparent cancelation policy, and previous experience running trips throughout the pandemic, we hope you feel comfortable and confident enrolling for Summer 2022.
